Chapter A Selects new Couple of the Year for 2012

Chapter A has selected Pam & Larry Clemmer as their Couple of the Year for 2012. This was announced during the chapter Christmas Party on December 17th. Larry & Pam are planning to visit several GWRRA chapters throughout the Georgia District during their tenure in 2012. Larry & Pam are also performing other functions within the chapter. The Honda Gold Wing has always been a popular motorcycle here in the USA offices. We’ve ridden them all over the country, but these big touring bikes had fallen off the radar for a few years. That all changed when Honda revealed a new and improved 2012 Gold Wing. We had our first taste of the bike during a brief day ride in Southern California a few months back but the folks from American Honda were keen to remind us just how great their luxury touring motorcycle is by dragging us to the east coast for a long, grueling ride through the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Bike Week 2011 – Coffee Break for Safety

For many years now the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Georiga Chapter A have helped man a coffee break at a rest stop on I-75 just north of Macon, GA. On Saturday March 5th, they were there again – rain or shine. It was a little wet, but the key here is safety and accidents don’t take a day off when it’s raining, they get worse. Hundreds of people, both bikers and ‘cagers’ were offered coffee and snacks, just to get off the interstate for a short break to walk around and take a few minutes to chill. GWRRA Georgia Chapter A Wins First Place

This past Friday evening in Hiawassee, GA at the Georgia Wing Fling Talent Show, our own Chapter A team won first place in the Chapter Comedy category. Several chapter members were on stage in their own very special production of “Splish Splash”. I’m sure a video of the winning production will be on our web site shortly. CONGRATULATIONS TO CHAPTER A!!!!!!!!!

2010 Memorial Day – Rolling Thunder – Marine Salutes the Fallen

3000 vets on motorcycles from across the USA paraded in D.C. the Sunday before Memorial Day, while a solitary, saluting Marine greeted them out on Constitution Avenue.
